We often build what we call "flash hybrids". In English, this means that the site is built with an html framework, but has bits and pieces created in Flash to add interactivity. By doing this everything else can still be crawled easily by search engines, pages can be bookmarked by visitors, and the site simply doesn't get in your way. In short, it looks nice with subtle moving objects, but doesn't hurt the sites usability and search engine indexing.
Your websites visitors want a reason to come back to your site, but often they're not given a reason to do so. Pages can become stale pretty quickly if we're not changing it up. On this site, we've made a dynamic homepage. Visitors know they'll return to find new stuff every time they visit.
Keeping a brand's image consistent is always a struggle, especially when sending work out to multiple vendors such as printers and designers. A styleguide bridges the gap, providing your vendors with rules to follow and files to use. In most cases, we suggest this guide gets built "online" so that it can easily be updated and distributed when changes have been made, for instance when you add a new photo to the guide's "stock" gallery.
Some sites just need a nice "look" and some branding guidelines in place.
